SEATTLE–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Mar. 31, 2016– Visualant, Inc. (OTCQB: VSUL) – an industry-leading provider of chromatic-based identification, authentication and diagnostic solutions, with its ChromaID™ technology, announced today that it has entered into an agreement that provides Intellicheck Mobilisa (NYSE MKT: IDN) exclusive rights to Visualant’s latest, patented photonics based innovations for threat assessment and document verification in the areas of homeland security, law enforcement and crime prevention.
Intellicheck already has their solutions in use in the US Department of Defense, US law enforcement and Canadian province enhanced identification systems. Intellicheck will now be able to enhance their products with sophisticated photonic technology to further improve threat identification worldwide.
While the human element remains critical to security measures, the Visualant ChromaID technology can help detect dangerous substances and counterfeit documents in a more proactive and precise manner. Visualant’s ChromaID technology will allow Intellicheck to develop a new line of threat identification products based on this pioneering technology. The Company believes this new technology will provide a new deterrent in halting domestic and international terrorism and illegal operations due to its real-time, field based analysis capabilities.
